On Saturday 4th December businesses are joining forces to bring festive cheer and Christmas treats to Putney. This year we will be hosting our Christmas Fayre on Upper Richmond Road, known for its independent businesses. It’s sure to be a wonderful day full of the spirit of Christmas!
There will be stalls from more than 20 of Putney’s local shops and eateries offering a great selection of presents, Christmas treats such as mulled wine and mince pies, as well as a charity tombola where you can win some fabulous prizes donated by Putney businesses.
There will also be free children’s shows of The Nutcracker by Storystock happening in The Platform at Putney Hotel. Shows take place at 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm and last around 20 minutes, and will be followed by arts and crafts.
Throughout the day there will be festive music provided by Putney and Wimbledon’s brass band, and children will also be given the chance to write letters to Father Christmas. You can also take part in our special Nutcracker trail to find all the hidden Nutcrackers!
The Fayre will take place between 11am – 3pm on the 4th of December, on Upper Richmond Road between the Fox and Hound pub and the Methodist Church.

Putney Arts Theatre roaming performances from Putney Theatre Company’s upcoming pantomime of Alice in Wonderland

Bike marking and advice for cyclists from the local police

Nutcracker Storytime at The Platform at Putney Hotel. Join the Storystock team as they lead a Nutcracker storytime followed by Festive Crafting. On the hour between 11am and 3pm (last performance 2pm). Booking recommended
